GENERAL HUMAN RESOURCES SUPERINTENDENT

This is fantastic opportunity for experienced industrial relations professional. To be successful in the role, you will need to demonstrate a strong track record in managing IR issues and disputes both in non litigation phase ( Labour Courts and High Supreme Court) in within a unionized environment and also experience of developing  a good working relationship with the Unions and Emoloyees / Employees Representative ( Bipartite Forum ). Ideally your experience will have been gained wihtin a similar multi-sited environment. Experience within the mining industry/construction industry will be advantageous.

Resposibilities :

1.  Advise managers, site HR, and site management on a range of IR issues

2.  Work with site HR to improve their knowledge and understanding of IR related legislation

3.  Improve site HR confidence in dealing wiht IR issues

4.  Assist in developing IR policies and procedures and advise on relevant law

5.  Negotiation and consultation wiht trade unions

6.  Effectively manage relationships between site management and trade unions

7.  Establish, develop, and maintain the Provincial and Regional governmental network including all of labour courts officials

8. Communicate with site HR and the bipartite forums, servicing their needs through the meetings and gathering IR information

9.  To work closely with the operations manager in ensuring both the Union and the Members are working together for the best interest of the organization

10. Represent the company in every non litigation disputes event and litigation disputes event ( Labour courts and High Supreme Court as required )

11. Review and implement of Corporate HR Policy & Procedures, Company Regulation, and Collective Labour Agreement

Requirement :

  • Tertiary qualification in Law wiht minimum of 8 years experience in similar role for large Mining, Construction, or Oil & Gas industry,
  • Excellent working knowledges of current Industrial Relations practices, Labor Law, or government regulation,
  • Possess valid lawyer / advocate licenses is a must
  • Experience to handle vaious cases of Industrial Relation in the Labor Court
  • Strong leadership skills and good team work,
  • Excellet communication skills in Englisth both verbal and written.

Mining Supervisor

Reporting to Senior Mining Supervisor, you will responsibilities to  supervise the work teams to deliver production quantities and results which meet the agreed dig plan for the shift; to plan ahead to set up the gear in good shape for the oncoming shift; follow Thiess standards and planning and do so on time and on budget while satisfying the needs of the client and the company; Lead, organize and provide direction for employees to ensure outstanding performance is achieved in people performance, HSE&Q outcomes and the business results; Set an example – for all in the workplace to follow – in safety, leadership, attendance and personal

Behavior; Supervise and manage the equipment under your control to meet the following productivity requirements safely and following all TCI operating procedures.

To be successful in this role you will need to have a minimum Senior High School or higher is preferred with minimum of 2 years professional experience in large open cut mining operation as Lead Hand or better as Mining Supervisor; possess “Pratama” certificate – Mine and Energy Department is preferred; able to operate most of type  heavy equipment;  have ability in employee’s supervision, resource planning, and OHS&E supervision; be able to operate computer and good communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English; and be able to provide reporting.

Requirements :

* Male, max 35 years old
* Minimum 3 (three) years experience as safety officer in mining industry
* Bachelor degree from faculty of mining engineering, industrial engineering, environmental engineering or public health
* Certified POP (Pengawas Operasional Pertama) will be an advantage
* Fluent in English both oral & written
* Computer Literate in using MS office & Internet

* Compile safety statistic from sites (accident, incident, near miss and lost time injury)
* Self confident and tactful to communicate with people in every level within the organization
* Good health and able to work under pressure with good result and always seek best solution to solve problem
* To be located in Halmahera island, with rotation schedule
* Will be located in remote area, with rotation schedule

With a booming Resources sector, an excellent opportunity for a Deputy Project Manager  – Mining has become available to run a large scale open cut coal mining project in Kalimantan.

Deputy Project Manager – Mining

Reporting directly to the Project Manager, the Deputy Project Manager will be responsible for the outcomes of the project. Critical to your success is your ability to lead and manage the project to ensure that the targets on safety, production, maintenance, people and financial/commercial outcomes are met.

In your career to date, you will have worked with a work diverse and multicultural work force greater than 1,000 people on either mining or civil related projects. You will also demonstrated delivering results through people in your pursuit of achieving project key performance indicators.

Experience working with clients is a must and your interpersonal skills will set you apart from your peers. Likewise your understanding and application of project management principles.

Requirements of this position: Tertiary qualifications degree in mining or civil engineering; have “Utama” Indonesian mining certificate is desirable, but not essential; minimum of 10 years in, or about, an open cut mine, with a minimum of five (5) years in a senior operation role; superior inter-personal and communications skills are essential. Good command of the English language.

Artikel Dunia Kerja “Mendapat Tawaran Pekerjaan Saat Masih Bekerja”

Dunia kerja yang semakin kompetitif tidak hanya menorehkan cerita sedih tentang tingginya angka pengangguran, namun juga kisah yang cukup menakjubkan. Ketika jutaan unemployment tengah berjuang mencari perusahaan yang dapat mempekerjakan mereka, ada orang-orang justru tinggal menunggu atau bahkan ‘dikejar-kejar’ perusahaan yang ingin mempekerjakan mereka. Dalam hal ini bukan keberuntungan yang berperan penting melainkan kompetensi dan skill individual-lah yang menjadi penentu.

SDM yang unggul biasanya menjadi rebutan para executive search dan perusahaan-perusahaan. Bahkan seringkali praktek bajak membajak eksekutif tidak terhindarkan jika supply sumber daya manusia dengan keahlian yang dibutuhkan di pasaran terbilang sedikit. Dalam dunia profesional hal ini sah-sah saja sepanjang kesempatan yang datang dapat memenuhi keinginan dan memberikan kesempatan untuk mengembangkan karir yang lebih baik.

Lalu pernahkah Anda dihubungi seseorang yang mengaku headhunter dan ditawari sebuah posisi di perusahaan kliennya? Padahal saat itu Anda masih kerja dan tidak pernah mengirimkan aplikasi ke perusahaan apapun. Keputusan yang tepat dalam menghadapi kesempatan yang datang dapat merubah kehidupan karir Anda. Maka pertimbangkanlah beberapa hal sebelum menolak atau menerima tawaran tersebut sebagai berikut:

Jangan terlalu senang, jangan terlalu skeptis. Reaksi Anda mungkin akan berbeda-beda tergantung apakah Anda telah paham cara kerja headhunter atau belum. Jika Anda telah dihubungi mereka, berarti profil dan prestasi karir Anda cukup menarik perhatian dan diprediksi dapat memenuhi kriteria kandidat yang dicari oleh klien mereka. Merasa senang karena dilirik oleh headhunter dan dapat kesempatan bagus boleh-boleh saja, namun tetap harus waspada dan teliti sebelum mengiyakan setiap tawaran. Sebaliknya jangan pula terlalu skeptis atau curiga, dengarkan dulu penawarannya baik-baik, siapa tahu posisi yang ditawarkan memang jauh lebih baik dari posisi Anda sekarang.

Lakukan riset dan cek and ricek. Pastikan Anda mendapatkan informasi yang cukup tentang jenis pekerjaan yang ditawarkan, jenis usaha, dan bentuk usahanya. Lalu cari tahu tentang Executive Search yang akan menjadi fasilitator Anda dan perusahaan tersebut lewat website, brosur, kartu nama, dan info dari orang lain tentang track record mereka.

Evaluasi diri: Benarkah saya ingin pindah kerja? Tawaran yang datang boleh jadi sangat menggiurkan dan menjanjikan untuk peningkatan karir Anda, tapi tanyakan k-epada diri sendiri apakah ini yang benar-benar Anda inginkan dan butuhkan? Jangan mengambil keputusan berdasarkan emosi sesaat atau prinsip aji mumpung. Ada beberapa alasan mengapa seseorang pindah kerja diantaranya: ingin mencari tantangan dan suasana baru, menapaki jenjang karir yang lebih baik, serta mendapat penghasilan yang lebih tinggi. Pikirkan untung ruginya dan baik buruknya sebelum memutuskan, jika hati sudah mantap, silahkan lanjutkan ke proses berikutnya.

Usahakan proses seleksi tidak menganggu pekerjaan Anda. Anggap Anda tertarik dengan penawaran mereka dan ingin menjajaki opportunity tersebut. Biasanya Anda akan diminta menyerahkan resume lengkap kemudian bertemu dengan headhunter untuk proses wawancara awal. Sebagai karyawan yang bertanggung jawab, sebaiknya Anda tidak menggunakan jam kantor untuk memenuhi panggilan tersebut. Agar proses seleksi Anda tidak berbenturan dengan pekerjaan, ambil saja cuti supaya Anda bisa lebih fokus menjalaninya.

Be discreet tentang penawaran dan proses seleksi. Sebisa mungkin jangan sesumbar bahwa Anda sedang diincar oleh perusahaan lain. Selain tidak etis, karena posisi Anda yang masih bekerja, hal ini juga menyalahi aturan main proses seleksi yang dilakukan Executive Search. Biasanya mereka akan berhati-hati supaya proses ini jangan sampai tercium oleh competitor klien mereka.

Apapun hasilnya, tetap jaga hubungan baik dengan Executive Search. Setelah menjalani rangkaian proses seleksi ternyata Anda tidak menemui kecocokan dengan perusahaan tersebut, misalnya karena paket numerasi yang tidak sesuai atau pekerjaan tidak seperti yang dijanjikan, sampaikan penolakan dengan baik-baik. Kemukakan alasan Anda dengan logis dan jelas agar tidak menimbulkan kesan negatif. Sebisa mungkin jagalah hubungan baik dengan Executive Search tersebut sebab siapa tahu mereka akan menawarkan kesempatan lain di masa yang akan datang.

Sikapilah keputusan mutasi dan rotasi dengan bijaksana. Proses ini bertujuan untuk mematangkan dan meningkatkan karir Anda, jangan sampai malah membuat Anda mengalami pemutusan hubungan kerja. Pandanglah kesempatan ini sebagai ajang untuk mengembangkan diri yang pada akhirnya akan membantu kemajuan karir Anda.
